SUN Hydraulics launch Serie 4 Plus

SUN reduce the pressure drop with optimized cavity !

Series 4 PLUS cartridge valves with optimized cavities offer high flow performance -  less than 100 psi (7 bar) pressure loss at 200 gpm (760 l/min) flow. This performance is comparable to DIN 25 and DIN 32 valves and is 50% to 80% more efficient than a standard Sun Series 4 equivalent functional cartridge and cavity.

DPX100 - New flow sharing mobile directional valve from Walvoil

Walvoil have developed a new valve with flow sharing technology for the mobile hydraulic market.

The DPX100 valve use the flow sharing technology which is used when a reliableand simultaneous independent operations are needed to enhance the performance of the machine. Cranes, aerial platforms, telescopic booms, drilling rigs as well as big harvesting machines are main users of these valves. You can control how the flow will be divided if several users need more flow than available. The users can be reduced proportionally as much or you can use some other split.

The valve is available in many versions for open or closed center applications. As many as 12 sections can be used and there are several controls like manual, hydraulic, electro hydraulic and electro proportional.

Valve data: 120 lpm inlet flow, 90 lpm for the working ports, max pressure 300 bar. There also a high pressure version available for up to 380 bar.

New Cetop 5 Directional valve with proportional control, feedback and integrated electronics from Duplomatic (Sweden)

The DSE5J is a direct operated directional valve with integrated electronic proportional control and position feedback.

It is normally used to control the direction and the speed of hydraulic actuators.  Transducer and digital card allow a reduced hysteresis and repeatability (lower than 0,2%), a response time of 60 Hz (at < 90° with a signal of 10%), and pressure gain that enables to reach the 80% of total pressure at 2% of reference signal.
The digital driver gives great performances, i.e. the response times reduction, the perfect interchangeability among different valves, the possibility to modify parameters via software.
A spool with mechanical zero overlap is available, and the optional kit LINPC-USB/10 that enables the reading of the values coming from the external command, allows the exclusion of PLC to control the valve directly, and inteface PC and electronic card.
Pmax 320 bar
Qmax 180 l/min

Now more solutions with position indicating switch from SUN Hydraulics (Sweden)

Sun has expanded the logic elements with a position indicating switch. Logic valves are now offered in four different versions across three different sizes of valves. These valves incorporate an inductive switch to provide confirmation of the poppet position. These valves can be used in critical applications where knowing the status of the poppet's position can offer an added level of safety.

Pumps with ATEX approval from ATOS (Suomi/Finland)

Pumps with ATEX ex-proof certification
According to the ATEX Directive 94/9/CE, the components not subjected to electrical functions are not obliged to be certified by a Notified Body. A technical analysis, proving the product’s compliance with the safety requirements, is all that is requested from the manufacturer. However, Atos decided to obtain certification for ATEX pumps in order to satisfy the new requirements of the ex-proof market in advance. The pumps have been awarded the ATEX certification Ex II 2/2 GD cbk IIC T6/T5 for pumps type PFEA and PVPCA, specific for applications in ex-proof hazardous classified areas.

Along with the pumps, Atos has also been awarded the ATEX certification for CK cylinders, identified with code CKA, for which a specific communication will follow.

Pump Models
The pumps with ATEX certification are identified with the letter "A" after the original model code:
- PFEA: certified version available for all PFE models
- PVPCA: certified version available for PVPC models with controls type C, CH, R, L, LW. Proportional control type CZ, LZQZ(R) and PERS are available on request.

Technical Characteristics

The pumps with ATEX certification are fully derived from standard versions. Besides the specific nameplate with the CE mark and certification references, they are provided with a proper screw terminal on the body for the ground facility.

ATEX certification references
The pumps are certified by TUV Notified Body, according to protection mode "cbk" (construction safety + ignition source + liquid immersion)
We point out that the certification covers both applications in Gas (Zone 1 and 2) and Dust (Zone 21 and 22) environments.

In the meantime Atos ITEC department can be contacted for any information you might require.

Note: Specific Operating and Maintenance instructions are always enclosed with delivered pumps. This documentation provides useful information about the pumps installation criteria, fluid compatibility, maintenance, repairing and storage cautions.
