Atos
Founded in 1957 and with headquarters in northern Italy, Atos is a specialist in electrohydraulics with expertise and long experience. Their broad range of components covers almost all areas of hydraulics.
As their range includes the normal “bang-bang” on-off valve, Atos has put a lot of effort in proportional control. Their proportional and on-off valves range from the normal NG6 to NG32.
The Atos standard series covers modular valves and traditional valves, for example pressure control valves.
Most of the valves are also available with the ATEX (Atmoshere Explosivé) option for explosive environments. The range of ATEX products now includes pumps, valves and cylinders. Some valves and cylinders are available in stainless steel for corrosive environments.
Atos servoproportional valves are used in all kinds of advanced applications because of their accurate operation, closed-loop feedback with integral electronics, high-response and excellent reliability. The ISO cartridges can be on-off or proportional depending on the cartridge cover. ISO cartridges can be equipped with internal transducer in the main stage and in the control valve on the cover. All proportional valves can be equipped with external driver or integral electronics. Now all most all the proportional valves can be connected with a digital driver. The digital driver and valve can be configured and controlled via USB-cable from the PC.
Atos cylinders are manufactured in accordance with ISO 6020 and 6022 with max. peak pressures up to 350 bar. Cylinders can be supplied with cushioning devices and transducers for detecting the placement of the rod. Atos also manufactures servo-actuators with proportional valve attached to the cylinder. Atos variable displacement piston pumps come in sizes up to 98 cm3/r and can be supplied with electric control of the displacement. Radial piston pump can hold pressure in some types up to 500 bar. Vane pumps can be fixed displacement or variable displacement and they can be supplied with attachment to PTO. All kinds of multiple pump options are available within the pump family and different types of Atos pumps can be connected together.
