Purchasing policy

Quality and environmental considerations are key features of our purchasing policy. Purchased products will fulfil our customers' requirements and expectations.

Specma AB's goals are:

• to work towards good relations and long-term cooperation with suppliers
• quality and environment will be given the highest priority
• to select suppliers who supply the right product at the right time and in the right quantity and at the lowest total cost
• to participate in suppliers' product development
• the supplier is to have a product quality control that allows us to wind down our reception control
• to review the supplier with regard to delivery precision, PPM and other discrepancies. The result will be presented to the supplier
• the supplier will at the least be ISO 9000 certified or possess an action plan approved by Specma
• the supplier will be ISO 14001 certified or alternatively EMAS certified or possess an action plan approved by Specma
• selected suppliers will be able to communicate via EDI
